				 Tom
Doyle was Les Paul's personal guitar tech, luthier, co-inventor,
soundman, confidant, and "fixer" for 45 year years... right up
until the time of Les' passing. Suffice it to say that all that
time at the side of "The Master" has given Tom the experience
and know how that no one else on the entire planet can possibly
have. He and Les Paul worked together refining and redefining
what an electric guitar could and should sound like... a true
labor of love that lasted over five decades. |
					|
				Many
have come along and attempted to recreate the sound, look, feel,
and tone of the famous '57 PAF Humbucker that is "the sound" in
every tone chasers head throughout the world... and some have
come close, others not so close. However, none have had the
first hand knowledge, the actual day-to-day first person
experience and the hands on background that Tom has. Mr. Doyle
is nothing less than a walking, talking historical encyclopedia
of all things Les Paul,  guitars, electronics, sound, and
musical history from the last 50 years- from the artists to the
instruments, to the gear they were using, to the experiments
they tried, and everything in between!  Tom has been called "The
				Luthier to the Stars".
When you get a set of these
Limited Edition Doyle Coil Tru-Clone PAF '57 Humbuckers... Your
Tone Quest just might be over!

				 When
Gibson moved their manufacturing facility to Nashville, Les Paul
himself went to the old Kalamazoo factory and took home many of
the tools and machines that the old guard decided they weren’t
going to take with them to the new factory, including The Old
Stevens Manufacturing pickup winder that so many of the original
’57 PAF pickups were originally made on.  Les later gave this
legendary vintage pickup winding machine to Tom as a gift in the mid 90’s...and its
been in his shop ever since.
 All of
this combined experience, know how, talent, and refined art is
now available in our Ultimate Doyle Coil Tru-Clone PAF Pickups.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a set of these
limited edition, handmade, Virtuoso PAF Pickups. Each set comes
in its own wooden collectors box and is signed and numbered by
				Tom Doyle personally

														| LES PAUL'S LUTHIER/GUITAR TECH/ENGINEER
												FOR 45 YEARS

														- |
														| |

While Les Paul was certainly more
than a genius in his quest for his
												ultimate sound,  tone, and
understanding of music and the instruments
that it took to get there, for over
												four decades he relied constantly
on Tom Doyle to make his guitars
whole again after he chopped them
to pieces in has mad pursuit of
that sound in his head. Most people
												automatically assume that because
there is a famous guitar with his
name on it, that Les was a guitar
												builder, tech, bench man, etc.,
and knew how to build, repair and
												refurbish guitars. That just simply
was not the case... he relied on
Tom for that. Tom and Les worked
on countless projects over the 40+
years together and Tom is nothing
												less than a walking/talking encyclopedia
about all things Les Paul, Gibson,
												build specs, musical history, and
knows more about guitars of all
kinds than anyone you will ever
												encounter alive today. |

														Tom holds Les Paul's
														White Custom Guitar and
														Les' Autobiography that
														features the very same
														guitar on the cover. Tom
														has fond memories of
														this guitar as being the
														guitar Les Paul used as
														his benchmark as he
														experimented with
														humbuckers. He would
														sometimes play this
														guitar in his kitchen
														before his Monday night
														shows... and of course,
														posed with it for his
														autobiography - "Les
														Paul... In His Own
														Words"... Talk about
														your history!!!
